Cars are driving too fast on my street, but I don’t want speed humps. How can I get the city to lower the posted speed limit on my street?
The city’s policy is to use "25 miles per hour" as the standard posted speed limit in neighborhoods. However, sometimes a "30 miles per hour" speed limit is posted on residential streets if the roadway is considered a local collector. While there may be speed limits posted lower than 25, these signs will be replaced as the city continues to standardize these speed limits.
